Correcting Bad Veneers

Many people have porcelain veneers. It is a popular choice for correcting many imperfections the teeth often have. However, there are many people who find that their porcelain veneers are not the smile solution they thought they would be.
Some problems people have had with porcelain veneers include:
- Veneers look and feel too thick
- Fake looking veneers
- Veneers fall of
- Discoloration at the margins of the veneers
There are reasons these problems occur. Bulky veneers could be the result of the lab making them too thick or the dentist not reducing the tooth enough. Veneers that fall off or show discoloration were probably not bonded correctly.
Placing porcelain veneers is a delicate and technically sensitive procedure. There are some cosmetic dentists who may not have the skill necessary to consistently place porcelain veneers well, or the lab these dentists use may not be very good.
